It was also a great reminder that even those who have been consistent meditators also struggle to find (well, make) the time to meditate. One more reason to be nicer to myself when I only meditate for 5 minutes :)
I've never really been able to meditate in the traditional sense - getting my head to think about nothing just doesn't really work. If I can manage to get rid of the cruft, I'm often in space, dreaming up stories of daring-do rather than reflecting on a mantra.
But pausing, I can do that. So, thank you for that idea. It's something I'll remember and, more importantly, remember to do.
You've described my own commitment to meditation and I listen in awe of your voice. Pause! I may listen to this every day as my reminder.
